The veterinarian's role in ensuring food chain safety (in Hungarian)

The overall aim of the course is to introduce the role of veterinarians in ensuring food chain safety. The majority of the lectures will be given by staff from the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih), who will present current issues in food chain safety, animal health and animal welfare, but also the role of laboratories and diagnostics, risk management and communication, information technology, research and development, etc.

The lectures will be held in 5 blocks. The third session will take place on 25 October 2021, between 14.15-17.00, on the following 3 topics:

- The current issues of food safety, Lecturer: dr. György Pleva / dr. Attila Nagy (National Food Chain Safety Office)

- The role of food testing laboratories, Lecturer: dr. Attila Nagy (National Food Chain Safety Office)

- The role of veterinary diagnostic laboratories, Lecturer: dr. Tamás Abonyi (National Food Chain Safety Office)
