The meeting was attended by about 150 experts representing 50 countries and 10 international organizations.Since 2022, Dr. Attila Nagy (Nébih ÉLI) has been assisted by Dr. Zsuzsa Farkas as Vice-Chair (Digital Food Institute, University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest).
Following the autumn meeting of the High Committee, they may adopt a guidance document on measurement uncertainty, a document summarising the sampling rules, an update of the current collection of methods, standards and measurement methods used in the field of processed fruit and vegetables and also of fats and oils.
In the future, the Committee may address the following topics:
- overview of methods for juices, fish, fishery products
- determination of nitrite and nitrate performance criteria
- developing a sampling app
- to facilitate the choice of appropriate analytical methods for allergens.
