The 41st meeting of FAO/WHO Codex Committee on Methods of Analysis and Sampling (CCMAS) will be held virtually
The FAO/WHO Codex Alimentarius Committee of Analytical and Sampling Methods (CCMAS) will hold its 41st meeting from 11-25 May 2021. Hungary has hosted the meeting since 1972.

A szakbizottság létrehívása óta első alkalommal fordul elő, hogy a szakemberek nem személyesen, hanem online felületen találkoznak.

The main mission of the body is to serve as a coordinating body for Codex with other international groups working in methods of analysis and sampling and quality assurance systems for laboratories. The chairmanship has been held by a Hungarian expert for decades. The position is held by Dr. Attila Nagy, Director of the Food Chain Safety Laboratory Directorate, while the Vice-Chair is held by Dr. Zsuzsa Farkas, a staff member of the Digital Food Chain Education, Research, Development and Innovation Institute at the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest. The Ministry of Agriculture and the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) played an important role in the organisation of this important professional event.
